Coffee Lovers Blog Hop Summer 2017 Day 8

Today is the last day of the blog hop.  I recently got this sentiment stamp which pretty much sums up how I cope with life.   The ants not only convey summer, but the inevitability of  problems that either need to be dealt with or endured. That’s life, folks!

Supplies:  Verses Lots of Laughs stamp, Doodlebug Picnic Ants stickers, Simon Says stamp coffee die and Adult Beverages die set, Paperhouse At the Vinyard patterned paper,  Reverse Confetti All Framed up die, Lawn Fawn Make me smile die, Alideco washi tape, My Favorite things Abstract Art stamp set, Hero Arts Painted circle stamp,Simon Says stamp card base and Scor tape.

Coffee Lovers Blog Hop Summer 2017 Day 7

I thought I was finished making cards for this blog hop, but wouldn’t you know………..another idea popped into my head and just wouldn’t leave.  Mercifully, the card came together much as it looked in my head with no real hitches.

I started thinking about a coffee card.. card (?) for three reasons.  First of all I am going on a cruise and was in the process of pre-ordering a coffee card so I would not have to drink the swill that they offer in most ship buffets.  Secondly I was thinking about turning several of the coffee cards I have made into gift card holders just to use them up sometime in my lifetime.  And finally, I had just gotten the Flip Up dies from Lawn Fawn’s latest release and wanted to take them for a test drive.

It took three photographs to show all the ways this card works.  Take a look:

Coffee Lovers Blog Hop Summer 2017 Day 4

All I can say is OMG!  This little project is the epitome of summer and coffee.  It was easy to make thanks to Papertrey Ink’s Market Street kit, and the paper and washi tape from Doodlebug was a match made in heaven.  The icing on the cake is the coffee bean hubcaps on the cart,  that are from Eyelet Outlet.

I filled the cart with loose coffee beans for the picture, but this would be a great  gift filled with a couple of Tassimo or Keurig cups as well.  This is my second post today as it is just too dang cute to wait until tomorrow.

Supplies:  Papertrey Ink Market Street kit,  Doodlebug Cream and Sugar patterned paper,  Doodlebug washi tape,  Stamploration Iced Coffee die, Eyelet Outlet coffee bean brads,  Neenah Desert Storm cardstock,  Recollections brads, Pico Wedding dress Embellisher and Scor tape

Coffee Lovers Bloghop Summer 2017 Day 4

Today’s card started with a desire to use the cute stitched frame die shown on the card.  It is a Creative Expressions die that comes with a plethora of little dies to fill the frame windows.  Mine has a garden theme, but they have a variety of themes and frame designs.  I wanted to make a coffee card instead of a garden card, so I went on a stash search.  Somewhat amazingly, I was able to find enough coffee die images to fill the frames.

Sandra’s Card

When Sandra came down to visit me in Phoenix, she made two cards for me to put on the blog.  I put one on the blog, but sent my laptop home in a car with a trunk that was bigger than a breadbox, before I got the second one published.  I have a ToDo list that is about 30 items long right now, so I thought this was a good time to do a quick post with the other card.

Here it is:

Coffee Lovers Bloghop Day 7

I am hopping with joy today as I am one of the Flash Prize winners in the Coffee Lovers Bloghop.  I was lucky enough to win a die set from Stamplorations.  I think it has a coffee theme so I will have something new with which to make a card for the next Coffee Lovers Bloghop.  How cool is that?

Sadly though, my creativity was equal and opposite to my level of joy at winning.  Seriously, the recycle bin is overflowing with cast offs.  I wanted to do a card using inspiration from a card that Kathy Racoosin did on her 30 Day Challenge today.  I wanted to take her idea of mixing a coloured and a identical but neutral pattern together on a card, but at the same time make it a shaker card as well.  Several tries later, I finally came up with this card.

Spring 2017 Coffee Lovers Bloghop

It is that time again!  Time for another Coffee Lovers Bloghop.  Time for me to be astounded once again at the number of never seen before coffee, tea and cocoa cards that can be created in one week!

I rarely put ready made stickers on cards, but these ones from Doodlebug were just too cute to ignore.  Then when I saw the Doodlebug paper that matched the stickers, it was all over.

Here is one of the resulting cards:
